Okay on Friday I went to the mall with Amy and Garrett to wait for the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It was a lot of fun. The bookstore was prepared this time, they had the check-in table all set up since they opened that morning. Amy and I got there at around 12:30 and ended up being number 90 in line to recive the book. For Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix I was number 8 in line. I was really mad, but that just means that I'll have to camp out for Book 7. Anyway after we checked in we found Garrett and then went to Starbuck's. We really needed the coffe, I was so tired and Garrett I guess needed the pick-me-up of caramel. After that we went to see if there was still an early showing of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. There was, so we went and saw it. It is a really good movie. Different from the first one, but hey, it's supposed to be. I will admit, it had a lot of random parts...which ended up working out really well.
That may just be because it was done by Tim Burton and with Johnny Depp. Anyway after that we went to a few diffenet clothing stores. While at one of the stores the front clasp of my bra broke right off. So as you would guess, I had to go get a new one. Not very fun, but hey at least I did have money to get one, otherwise the whole thing would have been worse. After that we saw some of my other friends that were waiting for the release too, and then went over to one of the girls house (who lived about a block or two away from the mall) and hung out there, while some of them dressed up. That's one thing that I need to do for the Goblet of Fire movie that comes out in November. I need to get Slytherin Robes. Hey David, if you read this you need to either call me or send me an email, we need to talk about getting robes...
Yeah so we went back and waited for about 4 hours. Then a bunh of some of last years ('05) Seniors, they were all dressed up as Death Eaters, except for one who was Lord Voldemort. It was great. The book final came out and Amy, Garrett and I all went to my house to start reading. We got about half way through Chapter 5 we had to take Garrett home. It was about 5am when got him there. Amy and I then went to sleep once we got back home. There wasn't much point in me sleeping though, see how I had to get up about 2 hours later to go get my new car. YES I GOT A NEW CAR!!!!! Its a '94 white Honda Accord. With AC and a CD player. I'm very happy. Well after I got home from getting that I went right back to sleep. Got up at 12:15 finished Chapter 5 with Amy, and took her home. Then for the next 30+ hours I finished the book. I was compleatly done at 11:36pm on July 17. It was such a good book. Very different from the rest of the series and I hated the ending. For now I will not disscuss it any futher so that all my friends don't get mad at me for ruining it for them. Okay I got to go to my voice lesson now. Buh-Bye!

Yeah so I got my TUBA today. It will be a lot harder than I thought it would be. I can't even tell what note I'm playing since for each fingering there are about 2 or 3 different notes. I still really excited to learn how to play it anyway.
On Wedesday I hung out with Colin. We went to the mall and had some Jamba Juice. One of the employess there was a girl that I went to middle school with. I don't know if she recognized me or not, we both didn't say anything along those lines. Anyway Colin and I then went to Kinko's to copy some music that he wrote. (which is really good, but that's not surprising since its Colin.) It took us both about 10 minutes to try to get it working the way we wanted to. They really make the copiers harder to operate then one would think. We wanted to make double sided copies from something that was already double sided. We thought that after telling it we wanted double sided pages that it would ask us to copy each side before printing. You know place one side down under the lid it would copy, then filp it over, then print. But no, it would only print one side that way. So after about 5 minutes and wasting money on 2 copies, we called over an person who worked there. They showed us that you had to feed it through this thing on top of the lid of the copier. Who would have guessed...then the pages started to get stuck. So we tried to flated the side that was getting stuck. We failed, so another employee told us to just turn it around. Yeah...this is what happenes when you have two blonde musicians in a Kinko's. Technology is not always a musicians best friend. The only time that it is, is if it will help with music. Yeah that so made sence. Okay I'm just starting to ramble on. And I think that I'm going to change my picture to one of Hayden Christensen, if I can find one that I like and is small enough that LJ would allow the upload. Buh-Bye!

music: Simple Plan- Thank You
Yeah my family went to go swimming. Why didn't I go too? I don't like to swim, and I couldn't find the bottom half of my suit and we all know that is not at all a pretty thing. So I stayed here. Where there's nothing to do. And I'm bored out of my mind. I really tempted to find a picture of Hayden Christensen(Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Ep. 2 & 3) and replace my faeiry one with that. I don't know, someone might think that I'm a guy then posing as him. That would be weird...anyway. Moving on to a different subject. My friend Mike. He was supposed to be going into the Army in the fall, but now might not. That's something that I've very happy about. The reason he might not go is because he a big fall out with his other best friend Scott. I'm not sure what about excatly, but that's what he said. Sounds like ma Famielle is back. So I might write more later or tomorrow before I see Colin. Buh-Bye!

Yeah as you can guess, I'm bored. I have nothing to do. I wanted to get a job for the summer, but that turned out to be a bust. At this rate I would work for about 2 weeks and then have to quit because of school. Well tomorrow I do have something to do. I'm going to go hang out at my friend Colin's house. I've made all these change to a song that I've written and Colin said he wanted to hear it. So that's one thing that we'll be doing. Its actually a really pretty song. Its a four part chorus in c minor. I had to write a four part choral for my A.P. music theory semester project based on a text. I chose a poem, The Unquiet Grave, (where I got the title of my diary from), to write to. I wish I was able to get it on to the computer at my mother's house (where I am now) so that I could upload and play it in my diary. It's really pretty. I plan on adding some more to it for my Senior project. I really want to try and get a magnet endorsement. I'm not 100% sure what the endorsement is, but what I do know is that it looks good to a college on an application. I'm watching Who's Line Is It Anyway on Comedy Central and they were talking about a TUBA. Pretty funny stuff. Sorry for the jump there. On Saturday I have a choir potluck to go to and then we are all singing the National Anthem at TEP for the Sidewinders game. It should be pretty cool, but I think that inviting both advance choir groups was a bad idea. There will be too many girls and so you won't really hear the guys. It should have just been Troubadours. I'll be in both choirs next year so it doesn't effect my plans much. I would still have to go. I don't think that I mentioned that I'm the 2005-2006 Advance Choir President! Whoo-hoo! That will be so cool. I'm really happy that I was elected. I liked this year's election process better than last years. What they did last year was just the Seniors in Troubadours voted, and then everyone in Alesstto voted. So it just was a popularity thing. Also there were two of each office. One for each group. This year they had one election that everyone, who came to an after school meeting, was able to participate in. They decided to just have one person per office, and I was voted to be President. I was and wasn't expecting it at the same time. Yeah I've typed quite a lot here. okay I'm done rambling on here.

A Change

Well I talked to my new band director today. He would like for me to change instrument for the marching season. I would normally play the flute, which is a woodwind and one of the smallest, highest pitched, instruments in the band. This coming marching season, he want me learn how to play the TUBA. This is that huge brass thing that wraps around a person and creates this low rumbling sound. He says that with my background as a singer and a flute player I am an ideal person to play the TUBA. This is basically because it takes so much air support to play it. I apparently have enough! If you think about it, its pretty cool. I don't really mind switching, I'm looking at is as a jump start to what I want to do. I plan on majoring in music education, and I'll have to learn the basics of all the major instruments. TUBA is one of those instruments. Yes it will be a bit of a challenge with learning a completely different type of instrument, and changing my after school schedule (when the time comes) and everything I used to do for marching season, I know that it will be fun. So I hope that I'll be able to play the marching show and the pep-tunes by the time August rolls around. I know that will be sooner than I'd planned. Okay well that's really all that I have to say for now, so Bye!

Well I've never really had an online journal before so I don't know what to say really. Yesterday I was supposed to start summer school, but it turns out that I'm not supposed to go until June 20th. I also went to a Star Wars marathon over at my friend's house. We saw the first 2 episodes and then went to the movie theater right down the street to see episode 3. I had to go home early and couldn't watch the last three, but hey that's how things go. It was pretty fun. We all cheered when the STAR WARS logo came up before the written into part. I really enjoyed this last movie, it answered a lot of things, but it also left a lot of other questions. Such as, when and how did Han Solo meet up the Chewbaca (hope that's spelled right). I'm not a huge Star Wars freak. I just know enough to understand the basic plot line and what's going on. I like the story. I do think that some things could be better, (such as most of the diaolouge is the first 2 episodes.) But there's nothing I can do about that now. Whats done is done. Look at this, there's nothing interseting enough going on in my life for me to write down, well actually to type up, and so I've resorted to critizing a movie. My life wasn't this boring. I think that its just going to be a boring summer. I want to get a job. So far that's not working out like I wanted. I was going to start the search at the beginning of May. I endded up being a month behind. And so there aren't many jobs open most likly. Well I guess that's all for now.
